5 Ways to Remodel Your Pool

Are you deciding whether to remodel your pool or not? A swimming pool is an investment that you'd like to be able to keep using and enjoying. But with constant use and the unavoidable effects of the changing weather, it can get damaged. In such cases, your pool needs to be repaired.

You may also want to update the look of your pool as your lifestyle and taste change. This could affect how you're enjoying the pool that you so loved years ago. We share five ways to remodel your pool to help you decide.

1. Update Pool Finish

If you're tired of the white plaster finish of your swimming pool, then it's time to change it up. Plaster materials are now available in different colors. You can opt for a pebble finish, adding texture to your pool. It's possible to have the finish in one color or a multi-colored pebble finish. With the availability of different materials today, you can update your pool's finish and give it a different look.

2. Improve Your Deck

Your deck is exposed to the sun most of the time. It is also one of the busiest parts of your poolscape. In time, the colors would fade or a part of it could crack. Other than the damage, you might simply want to give it a different look. There are also varying materials that you can choose from to make the project happen. But aside from updating the entire deck, you can add features such as a pergola, a fire pit, and other structures to improve your deck.

3. Beautify Your Pool

Add breathtaking water features to your pool, such as a waterfall, waterslide, fountain, laminar, and spa. You can also install new lights to beautify your pool. Depending on when your pool was constructed, your lights might already be outdated.

4. Upgrade Pool Equipment

Technology has evolved, and in recent years, changes have taken place so quickly. In this light, you may need to upgrade your pool equipment to save water, electricity, and time. You will definitely benefit from upgrading your pumps, cleaner, and pool alarms. Installing automation for cleaning and filtration systems provides convenience to pool owners, and gives you more freedom to focus on more important matters.

5. Build A New Pool

Of course, you can design a new pool altogether. You have the choice to stick to your pool type or shape or choose a new one. The good thing about remodeling your pool completely is that some work might not be needed when compared to those constructing a pool for the first time.

Renovating in one or two ways will definitely improve your pool. It will bring different enjoyment and experiences to you, your family, and your friends. You can discuss your plans with your original pool contractor or a new pool builder. Your choices and your budget should be laid out so your chosen builder can give you more options and help you create an oasis in your backyard that's better than it is now.

1998 GMC Jimmy Facts

In the most recent years, the sport utility vehicle has become more popular than the sedan. Car buyers feel safer inside a bigger car, and since car manufacturers are able to provide a car-like experience to their models, the SUV has been a car of choice. One of these cars is the 1998 GMC Jimmy.

History

The car traces its roots back to 1983 but was repackaged in 1994 to cash in on the growing popularity of the SUV. It didn’t sell exceptionally well compared to its rivals, even by its cousin, the Blazer. Still, the Jimmy SUV remained strong while the others slowly went down in the late 1990s.

Target Market

The 1998 GMC Jimmy was built for the married man, considered as a segment likely to own a car. Aside from safety, sport utility vehicles has the muscle of a truck or pickup, but offer the comfort of a car.

The car is a four-wheel drive with 4.3 liters V6 engine available in a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission. The inside features reclining driver and passenger seats, manual lumbar support, and colored-key carpeting.

The Look

GMC threw in a lot of new stuff for Jimmy to give it a more updated look. It has a new grille, headlamps, body-side moldings, and bumpers. The aluminum wheels give it a stronger appeal.

Safety and Security

The car features airbags for the driver and front passenger side and has 4-wheel disc brakes with a wheel anti-lock braking system (ABS). It also offers a 24-hour roadside assistance program. These are standard packages in all models.

Options

In an attempt to fit all budgets, the Jimmy was sold in four trims – the Jimmy SL 2-door (2WD); SLE 4-door (2WD); SL 2-door (4x4); and SLE 4-door (4x4). GMC also offers a wide array of optional equipment for the SUV, including a power sunroof, sound systems, and keyless entry features.

Tips for Ranking in Google Local Pack

If you own a brick-and-mortar business, such as a clinic, retail shop, restaurant, or fitness center, getting noticed in Google Local Pack is crucial. This guide will show you how to do it effectively.

What is Google Local Pack?

Before we delve into the strategy, let's define what Google Local Pack is. You've probably already used it or seen it before. When you search for a product or service on Google, this section displays a list of three business listings below the map. It's called the Google 3-Pack because only three local businesses are usually prominently featured in that area.

Why is ranking on Google Local Pack important?

Simply put, the more visible you are, the more sales you'll generate. Here are some statistics to back it up:

  • 46% of all Google searches are for local information
  • 88% of people who search for local information on their smartphones visit or call a store within a day
  • Consumers who did a local search visited a store within five miles

Ready to start ranking in Google Local Pack? Follow these steps:

Set up your Google My Business profile

Create a Google My Business account if you don't already have one. If your business is already listed on Google Maps, claim the location and verify your business. If not, enter your location manually and go through the verification process.

Verification can be done in three ways:

  • Postcard Verification: Google will send a postcard to your business address with a verification code.
  • Phone Verification: If you qualify, you may receive an automated message with the verification code.
  • Email Verification: Only available to some businesses, you'll receive an email with the code that you can verify on your Google My Business account.

Optimize your Business Profile

Provide as much detail as possible about your business, including your business name, introduction, hours of operation, phone number, email address, and website. Use relevant keywords related to your business when adding information, and include photos to highlight your business even more.

Generate Reviews

Encourage your customers to leave reviews on your listing. Positive and high-quality comments encourage potential customers to visit and transact with you. Don't forget to respond to both positive and negative feedback to show that you care about your customers and what they have to say.

Highlight your products and/or services

Google uses relevance, distance, and prominence factors when deciding which business to feature on the search engine results page. Highlighting your products and/or services can increase your relevance and prominence.

Optimize your website for local search

Include information about your location on your website, such as your complete address on your contact page.

By following these tips, you can effectively rank in Google Local Pack and drive more business to your brick-and-mortar establishment.
